Maui Korean Market has the best banchan on the island, and many of them are the most delicious banchan I have ever eaten anywhere. They are at once both soul-satisfyingly traditional while also being a little adventurous and new. I don't know how she does it. The chef and store owner is super nice and fun to chat with. This is definitely a hidden gem on Maui that deserves recognition.
Great hole-in-the-wall Korean market for basic Korean snacks, foods, and ingredients. Don’t expect to find all that you need to make an elaborate Korean dish but for all other basics, this is the place to go! Korean lady is very nice and will chat with you if you’d like~
